Super STOMP workshop!
We really enjoyed the STOMP workshop on Tuesday - we worked to put pulses and beats together to create this fantastic piece of music using coffee cans, baking trays, bins and other bits of rubbish!

Building Bridges Challenge!
In D&T today, we were using what we'd learnt about different structures to build bridges to allow an ambulance and fire engine to cross a ravine. The construction teams had to stick to a strict budges of £100 and could only use materials purchased from Bob's Building Supplies (amazing prices, such as only £10 for a sheet of A4 paper!).

St George opens our Castle!
WELL DONE to the children from Ash Class who put on the play to tell the story of St George today - it was an amazing way to open our new castle!

Survival Skills - shelter building!
We also built some shelters in the Forest Schools area to test out our survival skills - one or two of us got wet!
Learning about maps & grid references!
Years Five and Six had a geography day today, and the activity in Ash Class was to learn all about maps and how to use 6-figure grid references - we had a great time completing the challenges!
